Hi and welcome from North Carolina! I'm from sunny Fla... Gainesville and Vero Beach areas. It has been raining here in NC for several months steadily.... cold, yucky gray days. I'm beginning to envy y'all!

Welcome from Illinois. I lived in FL or almost 20 years. I was all over the state: Pembroke Pines, Weston, Oakland Park, West Palm Beach, Lakeland......I never thought I'd say this (because I am middle age woman with hot flashes and that doesn't coexist with most of FL) but I miss it a lot! There are some fantastic quilt shops in FL and the shop hopping is fabulous!

Waving from the opposite corner, usually soggy but still snowy Seattle says Howdy-do, and feel free to send any extra sun or warmth you don't want over this way!

I'm more of an old dog when it comes to new tricks but I'm constantly learning things here, and I'm constantly being excited by what other people are doing. That's the one downside of this board, more ideas than time!
