Hi Amma, I see already that you are hooked when you said "I should have done some housework" I been saying that for months now. I'm also new to quilting been about a year now. I have learned so much and99% came from this site. Everyone here is great and friendly like one big family. I have been doing the BOMs here and they have been a great learning experience. I actuly did things I was affarid to try on my own.

Please keep posting and let us know how your doing.

As far as a camera get one of the cheap 15 digital you can download the pic right to your computer

I do have a digital now, justified the purchase to take pics of the grandkids, however I did not completely fool my kids as to the "other" reasons.
Happy to hear I am not the only one who can put off housework for other more pleasurable activities!
I will check out the BOM's, I guess the worst thing I could do is end up using them for doll blankets for my grandaughter, she is too young to notice my mistakes, LOL.
I finally decided on a tumbling block pattern, with a lot of black background, the blocks are more random and seem to float on their own. My son (23) seen the pattern and mentioned he liked the design. However, there is no real pattern in the book, so I guess me and the design wall and seam ripper will become very friendly during this project! :)

Thanks for the encouraging words and when I get this done I will post it for critques and suggestions for future projects..........
