Hi, welcome from Romsey in Hampshire, yes in the UK too. I've been a member for some while and the Board has really expanded my quilting knowledge and is a wonderful sounding board for ideas. Hope you enjoy it too!

I bought my first quilting magazine yesterday, Love Patchwork and Quilting sold here in the UK. I found the projects amazing but a little difficult for someone who has never quilted before. Any suggestions for a first time quilting project??? Maybe a baby quilt??? Not really sure where to begin. I will check out YouTube for quilting tutorials, but I would love to hear any of your suggestions. I'm open to any tips and advice.

Hi Sarahelloyd. Someone else from the UK too! I'm totally new to quilting. I've been doing quite a bit of reading up on it but that is as far as I have got so far!!!! I would be very grateful for any tips and advice you can give me. Also online shops that sell cheap material and quilting tools, if you happen to know of any.
