Hello, everyone ! I just joined recently after lurking for quite awhile, and I'm so glad to finally be a part of this community ! I love sewing, and hope to start making some quilts soon. I love vintage sewing machines, especially Singers, and I guess I must be a collector since I have several.

I, too, lurked probably a couple of years before I joined. Welcome from the beautiful mountains of western NC. I'm sure you will learn many things on this site. Many people collect and write about their vintage machines. I'm not a collector although I do have my mom's 1949 Singer treadle.
