Thought I would introduce myself since I have been lurking for quite some time. I live in Missouri and I have been retired for 3 1/2 years. I have made several quilts since I retired.
I have been reading the board and looking at all the beautiful quilts that everyone has made. I have gotten some ideas from everyone. I have a question about what to put inside a flannel baby quilt. The top is flannel and the back is flannel. Should I just put flannel inside or batting or nothing at all? I need to quilt it and I'm not sure as what to put inside. Thanks for any help. |
Hello and welcome from Ontario. I usually put a Warm & Natual batt in my baby quilts, but all of the options you have mentioned are okay.

Hi and welcome from the sunny state of Florida!!

Welcome from NH!! As far as putting in a batting, 2 flannels are warm. I think it would, for me, depend on where it is ending up (the state - you know warm or cold climate).

Thanks for all of the welcomes and suggestions. I think I'm going to put flannel on the inside.
