Hi from Massachusetts - not new to quilting (senior stitcher!) but new to this Web Site and I am going to have to ration my time! but as I once read "My grandmother used to say a woman had to quilt or crochet in order to leave something of herself, that all the other things a woman did --cleaning and cooking and laundry--never stayed done. Well-placed stitches, on the other hand, stay put for generations."
