Hello from Texas!
Hi everyone. I came across this group today as I was searching for help on non traditional quilt borders. Thanks for letting me join. It's lovely to have other quilters to talk to and ask advice of. I am currently finishing up a Betsy McCall paper doll quilt for my 6 year old granddaughter. I have added a red stop border and a 4 inch border that go on all 4 sides. In order for the paperdoll blocks to be framed on the top of the bed, I'll need to leave the larger, drop border off the top. Has anyone done this? I guess I've worked on it so much that I need outside advice. I'm new to the procedures here, but I'll try to post pictures in the correct place.
Cheers, Vicki |
