I have always loved to sew, but have only been quilting a few years, with a lot to learn. The quilt bug bit, and I can't stop. I work full time, with 3 children, and 4 grand children. I even have my 7 year old granddaughter working on her first quilt top. I really love this site and reading all your advice had been just great. Thanks from this old Texas coast gal.

Hello Jean, nice to meet ya. I'm also on the Texas coast and work full time but no kids at home. You'll find lots of advice and friendship on this board. Welcome.

Hello ....I live in Texas , also. It is nice to know other quilters live in the same state. I have 2 grown children and 4 Grandchildren, and, one retired husband as of April. No pets although I love animals. I enjoy my daughter's horses and cats. I have not been quilting long but am learning a lot ...through quilting books and friends. I belonged to a Guild for about 4 years but don't belong to one now. Hope to share quilting stories and see photos soon....keep posting.
