I'm new to posting on this site, although I've been reading it for about a year now. I guess I posted my first introduction on the wrong place (Thank you Michigan for letting me know). I'll get the hang of it pretty soon. I've been sewing since I was about 10, and have caught the quilting bug. I thought I would start using up all my fabric scraps from years of sewing cloths. I'm just not sure where to jump in.

Welcome from South Dakota.. I am just a newbe too.. I have only done about 3 quilts with cottons. I started using old denim. I made about 10 of those.. They are nothing like piecing with cotton. I have done some t-shirt quilts also. They are fun. It is a fun hobby. The most important thing is with every quilt I do I learn something. Don't be afraid to ask any questions... lots of willing help on this forum.
