I am also from upstate New York. Around the Albany - Schenectady area.
We do travel down through Binghamton a couple of times a year and sometimes stay around there as my husband likes trains. Are there any good quilt shops there? |

Hello and welcome, im in syracuse ny

There are about five quilt shops in the Binghamton area, Patchwork Angels in Endicott. Sew many Quilts near the Oakdale Mall in Johnson City, Grandmothers Thimble in Johnson City, Beyond the Needle in Kirkwood Ny., Churn Dash in Owego and Pucky Huddle in Candor. All of these are within a range of 5 to 30 miles. OOPS i forgot "The Quilted Crow", so I am very lucky to live close to all of these, Marge

Johnniesgirl - Welcome from North Central PA. You will enjoy this board...the folks are great, and I am always learning something new! I get to the Rochester area frequently but have never been in your neck of the woods. Sounds like you have a great selection of LQS in your area, maybe I will have to wander on over sometime!

Wow - it's good hearing from all of you. Yes, we do have a lot of quilt shops around here. Genghis Khan missed one - Creative Threads right in Binghamton. Lucky me, about 1/4 mile from where I work.
