Hi. I live 75 northwest from NYC in Orange County. I taught myself to quilt from reading online. I took a class and made a tote bag so I could learn to stipple. That was fun. I am hoping to take more classes. I wish I could learn how to sew from a pattern to make other things (like clothing).

I make mostly baby quilts because they can are smaller. I am currently working on a quilt "trip around the world". I guess the idea is to make a quilt with the colors from your trip. I like the pattern and wanted to match my living room colors. I'm still learning about putting colors together on a quilt. Sometimes what seems ok is not when you put all the colors together. I have trouble visualizing and am learning about values of colors.
