Hi! My name is Karen, I'm originally from Detroit but I've lived in Virginia for the past 30+ years. I've been quilting for a few years...still learning a lot.

I've been ghosting this site for a while looking at all the amazing quilts and getting a lot of inspiration. Unfortunately, I still work so my quilting time is limited.

I can't wait to spend more time checking out quilts, getting tips and learning more! Thanks.

Hello from the Seattle area. Hubby is from Grand Rapids and I know to say Go Wolverines! when it is college. It causes some marital disharmony the few times the Seahawks play the Lions.

The main reason I could quilt while I was still working was my chronic insomnia :p

Hi Karen, my son and DIL live in Alexandria and we get there a lot. There is so much to do! I love it. We're thinking of moving closer now that they are having our first grandchild.

Yeah! Virginia Beach is where we lived before moving to Kinsale - lived in Redmill Farms! Have family and friends there and visit often :)

Glad you found the QB - it's been an invaluable help for me and I hope it is for you, too! Curious, have you affiliated with any of the many guilds in Hampton Roads??
