I have been quilting for about two years and really enjoy it. I have been reading the message board and have been learning alot from all of your wonderful quilters. :)
A question for you: How do you price your quilts for selling? I know to charge for the material but how do you charge for your time? Thanks to all! |
Hi! Welcome from Minnesota!
I have only sold a few Bow Tucks bags and the way I figured it was to double the cost of the materials. For example, if the materials cost me $20, I'd charge $40. |

Welcome from southeastern PA! I'm originally from Pgh., PA

Welcome. I'm also from Western PA. When it comes to pricing quilts, especially in this area, it can be challenging. If you're selling in the actual Pittsburgh area you get higher prices; north of Pgh the prices are lower if you can sell them at all. I guess you have to know your demographics. Good luck with selling your quilts and again, welcome!

HI! I'm originally from Monongahela, but now I live on the other end of PA.
I too have wondered what to charge if selling quilts or other things |
If you got to the search button and type in 'pricing a quilt' you will get many different responses.
