Sorry I am very new and I may not have titled this right. All I know I have all these rulers and don't know how to use them. Thanks for your help.

There are many uses - are you talking about just a basic straight ruler ? those are mainly used to cut the fabric with a straight edge at a certain width. Others have a specific pattern in mind - so would need to know which ones you have to be of more help :lol:

the square ones are usually used to square up a block , to make it the correct size

Your local quilt shop might offer a class or demo showing how to use different rulers. If they don't they might be willing to show you. My local store had a demo last week.
