I am starting a new quilt. It will have a large white cross whose cross members are 15 inches wide. I want to piece this large cross with various white fabrics. Should I make the pieces 3 inches square or 5 inches square or triangles? There will be a large butterfly on the cross.
Any suggestions?

Your quilt sounds like it will be very pretty either with the squares or the triangles....whatever you choose, be sure and post a pic so we can see.
