Where in CA do you live? I have a son in Orange County, a granddaugher in Bakersfield and another granddaugher moving near Montery. While visiting my son I always take a ride to a quilt shop called Material Obsessions and the Joanne's way up in the hills in Lake Forest. Are you anywhere near them? I've also make a trip to Rosies Calico Corner.
