Hey there!

Hello, my name is Martha and I'm on the road to being addicted to quilting...... This is the first step to recovery right??!!!!

I live in northern Alabama. I'm a former Navy wife, a Navy veteran, mom to six, ages 20 - 32, (modern day Brady bunch!) and five glorious grands (ages 4-16)! I have a full time job to pay for kids' college and SEWING!!

I bought my first sewing machine when I was in the sixth grade for $75 with babysitting money and my second machine 12 years ago, a Huskvarna Rose, and I love her with all my heart!!!! WhenI started sewing, it was garments up until a couple of years ago. When my youngest was a senior in high school I took my first quilting class........and.......that my friends is when it all started..............:)

Welcome from the thumb of Michigan!! Consider yourself "hooked". Visit this thread and consider joining. I was gonna "try it out" a nearly a year ago. Just another way to get "hooked". Be careful, be very careful. Participation has been known to cause overload of creativity, addictive behaviors, messy homes, and hungry families. http://www.quiltingboard.com/member-...n-t214195.html
