Hi Everyone,
I have been looking at your messages and wonderful quilting projects and have gained so much inspiration I decided I should sign on.
I live on the Tasman Peninsula in Tasmania, so quite southerly on the map of Australia. I work with my hubby in his farming ventures and do try to make time for my sewing. Fortunately I meet with a craft group weekly, as I tend to slacken off without support and encouragement and enjoy the company so much.
I have a wonderful mother-in-law who is a master quilter and helps and inspires me endlessly.
I have posted a pic of my first 'real' project, finished last December (it took about 2 years), just in time for my niece's 1st birthday present. I bought it as a kit which made the going much easier and was very happy with the finished result.
Looking forward to seeing you all quite often. :)
