Welcome from eastern Iowa. I have a 870 Viking Quilt, which has a longer arm for quilting. It's much easier then my older regular arm machine for quilting a full quilt.

No mid-arm, but with a sidesaddle chair my Innova becomes a sit-down machine!

I have a sit down Tin Lizzie "Queen Quilter 18". Guess that isn't a midsized, but there is still quite a learning curve (at least for me) because there is no stitch regulator and it is strictly free motion. I love it, but envy the ladies that can 'sandwich' their quilts on their long arms. I still have to try to find a place to do that little job.
