My Wife has been embroidering and quilting for ever ..so I cant work out in the shed any more now. I brought my own embroider machine and having some fun with it . I always had to do the digitizing and file for the wife so its no great learning curve only thing I'm going upgrade to is Hatch 2 (wilcom) as the Janome 1000 V2 is a little out of date these days and only works windows 98 I also have SewWhat its a great improviser to resize merge reassign files change hoop size split large files does every thing except actual digitizing so I'm into large embroidery quilting ....Zoo

Welcome to the QB. I too love to do embroidery quilting. I use DraWings for my digitizer. I love all the options it provides and I am able to create or alter just about any design. To bad you have been moved out of the shedhttps://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images/smilies/smile.png. It sounds like the two of you share a love for fabric and sewing. Hi All Thankyou for the welcome Have been a car restoration guy most of my life .. wife and I in late 70's.. I just cant climb under cars any more still love them but will just have to look in the future . Always loved watching wife embroider so I said I want to have a go at this so I had to get my own machines Always loved thr Janome MC11000 which is the same as wifes so found a low mileage had it serviced ... we have a Janome factory trained Tek near us "top notch" also have Janome 6600P for sewing quilt together Had a look at Drawings pro but it nearly 2K in Aust just waiting for Hatch to come up with it promotion and I will purchase it ........ Zoo
