Welcome from the West Coast of Florida. I was just in IA in April, my sister was taking a painting seminar in Des Moines and I had the car while she was in classes. There are a lot of very nice quilt shops all around the area. One of my favorites was the Quilter's Cupboard in Ankeny, it was such a wonderful shop.

I'm so glad you liked the Cupboard. I will tell Jenny, the owner. I am the cook for the quilt retreats she has 4 times a year. The next one is in Sept. She is opening a yarn shop next door to the quilt shop, in September. Now I will have to learn how to knit.
