Hello, I am also from New York...near the State Capitol. It sure has been a cold Winter so far..but not much snow my way.

Welcome from Japan! I am also originally from upstate New York. It sure gets cold there, but what great weather to make you want to quilt!

Thank you for the warm welcome everyone! Yes, the cold weather makes you want to stay inside and quilt so it does have advantages. We've had several feet of snow so far although some melted but it will soon be replaced :-)
