I've been lurking long enough and finally decided it's time to introduce myself. I've been quilting since I retired eight years ago, but I'm still learning new methods of sewing and quilting. I absolutely love this board and all the wonderful people that regularly post their pictures, ideas and feelings.
I just finished this quilt called "Romance Rose" by Eleanor Burns for my SIL. |

Hello and welcome from Fort Worth. Nice quilt. You did a good job.

Thanks, I do have a mistake in the quilt. One of the corners is turned in instead of out, but since it's quilted that's the way it's going. This quilt was so easy to put together, didn't even have trouble with the corners! LOL!!!

Hello and welcome from Elizabethtown, KY! I have some wonderful memories of vacations in Corpus Christi from when I was a very young child-we lived in San Antonio and used to visit there frequently. Once there was a problem with the oil tankers (just not as bad as the recent one in the gulf) and my brother came out of the water black from oil from head to toe-I still have pictures of this :)
