Hi, I just became a grandma in sept, and I have a quilt started from way back when I
was in a crafting group. I was going to make it for my youngest, but never got round to
it. So now I want to make it for my granddaughter.
So I'm hoping to get some inspiration and making new friends.

Welcome from beautiful western NC. You will learn much from this board. Grandchildren are wonderful - until you have full-time custody as we do of a 14 and 16-year-old. Actually, they have basically been good, but I can tell I am approaching 70!

Our other two grandchildren (ages 5 & 2) live 4 hours away, so we don't see them as often as I'd like.
