I've wanted to join the quilting board for a long time and today is the day! I read what was being said about my friend's pattern (Patty Loutrell's Spicy Table Runner) and wanted to add my comments. It's great fun for one! Two, is I read several comments about the high postage we add to Patty's pattern. Actually the web site automatically adds the $7 but we manually drop that amount when it's only a single pattern. Three, I also wanted to let you all know that in December we're offering Free shipping within the US as our gift. Looking forward to following the site and reading all your comments. I've already enjoyed the afternoon "catching up". Cheryl

Welcome to this great place. I have a soft spot for Delta as our son lives there...he's not into quilting though!:-) He calls it the banana belt.

The sky is nasty looking, but no snow yet. I would love it if it did. My dh is on leave after finishing his advanced combat training. He ships out to Djubouti, Africa on Saturday and won't see snow for a year. It would really be nice for him to get snow before he leaves.

My folks live in Salida, CO and my sister is the new NRA field rep for the state of Colorado, so I am sure she will be in your neck of the woods a few times this year.

Were ya'll at the Pueblo Quilt Expo last year?

(I went to a summer camp near Delta when I was a teenager and was playing on a slippy slide... where I slipped face forward and my nose broke my fall. I got strep throat right after that. Double whammy. It was a great summer...)
