Just wanted to say "Hi". This looks like a great website to get to know other quilters from all around. My name is Sue and I'm from Lancaster County PA...home of the Pennsylvania Amish...so have had a lot of exposure to quilts over the years. It wasn't until my aunt out in Indiana retired about 10 years ago and started making tons of gorgeous quilts for all of us that I really got interested. My first project was a wall hanging for her...I mean someone had to make something for her, right? Anyway, that got me hooked. I've been at it for about 4 years now and just love this. Unfortunately I still work full time and it seems that I spend more time acquiring projects and fabric than actually being able to make anything...but I manage to get a couple of quilts done each year!

Hi Rose...I can't believe it, but the picture you have of the sewing machine is the wallhanging that I made for my aunt! Only it's 4 blocks...I think it was a Debbie Mumm pattern. I'll attach the picture of Aunt Joyce opening it! How funny!

Welcome to the board, I'm sure that you will enjoy it. My twin brother and his wife lives in Lancaster County and I've visited them a time or two. It is really beautiful there.
