Around here we say that if it looks good when we rush by riding a fast horse, then it's good to show anyone.
Don't fret about it, anything made at home nowadays is rare. Cherish what you make. Enjoy the artistic life and make more quilts/lap robes/baby quilts/mug rugs, etc. And be sure to show us the finished products.
