I'm Laurie from New England. I found this forum when I was searching for something and I came upon a discussion. I thought I'd join.

I've been a quilter for over 20 years and I sewed for about 20 years before that. I knit, make baskets, I'm just starting pottery classes (I'm really terrible, but not ready to give it up yet), I garden (veggies mostly), I'm married, have 2 adult kids and one grandson. Oh yeah, I have 2 Newfies and I work full time. I like to do wood working, but I don't have time to do that very often. I've been working on our house for years and we're close to being finished, so now I want to do more fun wood working projects. Make a new kitchen table, an end table for the living room, a night stand for myself, a bed for the guest room.

Past my bedtime, so I'll have to come back tomorrow and check out what's going on.

Thanks everyone. I've been working on my house so much the past year, determined to finish it off and to replace things that need to be, I haven't thought about quilting much. I have finally given myself a new quilting space...not very large, but larger than I had....so as soon as find more time, I intend to get busy on new projects. I just wish this site didn't take so long to load. :confused:
