My name is Diana. This is my first venture into quilting. How did I get interested? I made a mini Christmas quilt and loved doing it! I've been sewing since I was 9. My husband and I are retired and now live in Middle Ga. I'm originally from the suburbs of Chicago and really miss the snow. We have 16 grandchildren that I sew and embroider for all the time. The youngest are 10 month old twins, a boy and girl. I've been doing machine embroidery for 17 years and loved doing that too. My husband and I have been raising an 11 year old grand daughter since she was born. She sure keeps us busy. I've been teaching her to sew since she was 4. She now has her own sewing machine and loves to sew with me in my sewingroom.
I'm excited to start a new venture in my life, quilting!
I'm sure I'll learn a lot from this group.
