I am looking for a table runner that will be approximately 5'6" long by 29" wide. I need to do a table runner that ends in a V. Does anyone have a pattern that they can suggest. It is for my stepdaughter and I am anxious to do this for her. She is a sweetie. Thanks.

Hi Jan, just North of Tallahassee here. I'm in Georgia but not but 10 miles from your State. I can look in my quilting library for a pattern. What kind are U looking for? U can adapt any pattern to the V shape & length & width. Depends on what kinda pattern you may want. Pieced, applique etc?
Let us know.

Hi, Katzzz. You are my first answer/hello! I am somewhat new to quilting, so if it could be somewhat simple I would appreciate your suggestions. Pieced should be ok unless you have an easier idea. I do not know how to convert any pattern to end in a V. Shannon, my stepdaughter lives in a condo and she uses two card tables as a serving when she has people over. And she loves it to be in a V shape, so this is why I am asking. I look forward to your pattern and any suggestion. Thx. Jan

OK Jan thanks. I'll take a look at what I have. I do have a cool pieced table runner that might work, if I can find it in my black hole of a quilting room! lol
Actually if you leave enough fabric at the end of any tablerunner you can just cut it in a V shape. Say you want to just sew squares together to make the runner, just add the fabric to the ends & cut in a V. It's easy to bind too.
I'm here if you need any advise. I taught myself so you'll do fine! Just takes patience!
