Yes, I lived in Squaw Valley for about 2 1/2 years while I took care of my mom. I am now in Sacramento to be near my son and his family.
I miss the store and all the folks I taught. Thanks for asking.

Isn't it intersting how we all have our favorites? I was sad when Emma died. She was a colorful gal.

Hello! I lived in Sacramento when I was a child. Lived in North Highlands when it was brand new. Not as nice as when I was growin up, as I was there in 1993 to visit my aunt in Citrus Heights. Lived in Mtn View also, as my father was promoted to VP of Armour and Co.

Returned to Rapid City, SD in 1957. Dad took over the plant in Sacramento, to close and lay people off and then thought while we were on vation in RC, to stay there. Traffic/commuting to SF, was a pain, even then.
