Hi Dianne! No fires yet, in our immediate area, but that is a definite worry for us. The golden fire is a ways away, but we did see it up close from Highway 93 and 6th. My husband is always happy on the days I stay home, and we have 4 cats and a dog to worry about. When I went to work today, I could see the smoke coming over into our canyon, and with the wind today, which was enough to shake my truck, it was worrisome. What about you? Are you in the town of Golden?

Yes, we are right in town. No problem for us other than we can smell the smoke sometimes. I'm glad you all are safe, it sure will be great when they get it completely contained.
