Hi from Houston
 

Thank you for allowing me to join your forum. I was born in Washington state in 1956 and have been in the Houston area since I was 12....not sure how we ended here from that gorgeous state of Washington, but Texas has been good to me. I am a Buyer for a chemical storage facility and married 40 years in May to the best hubby on the planet (he wasn't always, but I finally got him trained..LOL) with 1 son, 1 daughter, and a stepson....I have 1 grandson and 4 granddaughters that are my life. I haven't sewn in nearly 30 years much at all and then the pandemic sent me home to work and my daughter was pregnant with her first child and so we had to stay sheltered as much as possible to keep her and the baby healthy. Hubby lost his job after 40 years with just a letter saying good-bye as they closed his company, soooo, it's been a challenging year, but honestly, God has provided all of our needs and then some, so I'm so glad He is in control.

I have 2 brothers and 1 sister, and 1 sister and parents are with the Lord.

I am hoping to learn a bit and have some fun....I like to not take things so seriously and just ENJOY my projects and online friends. I scrapbooked for over 20 years and needed a new therapy, so this is it.
