Hi I am new!

I am thinking about buying Bernina 790 plus. Please share your experience with sewing/embroidery machine! I have Bernina 350 and love it, FYI. Thank you very much for your thoughts!

Welcome to the Quilting Board, Sunyoung from Minnesota. I have a Bernina 153 and a 570, but I don't do embroidery with them. Sorry I can't be of any help. There are things I like about the 570, but because it can accommodate an embroidery module, the widely set feed dogs present a problem for me when trying to sew a ¼" seam for quilting. I have used the Bernina Stitch Regulator and like it. I also like the better lighting and the slightly larger throat space on the 570. I've been thinking of using the 153 for piecing and the 570 for the quilting. Good luck with the search.

Welcome from Illinois. I love my Bernina but it isn't an embroidery machine.

Welcome from Arizona. I have a Bernina 440 aurora and it is a great machine. It came with an embroidery modgule but I never use it because it was not compatible with Mac computer.

Welcome from central Mississippi! If you have a great Bernina machine person then get your 790 plus with BSR. Those computerized machines can get persnickity and if you don't have someone nearby that you can trust to fix it, it will take a long time to get it looked at and you may not like having to travel across the country to deal with it. I did a search on Bernina 790 to see if it has been talked about. https://www.quiltingboard.com/main-f...s-t100568.html is a thread with lots of feedback on Berninas. but I saw nothing specific about "Bernina 790 Plus". You should start a thread with that machine make and model as your title and see who jumps in with their feedback.

I'm glad you found us! Show us your work. We love pictures!
