Hello All! I was so excited to find this board! I bought a Singer Simple sewing machine 2 years ago and decided I wanted to teach myself to sew and quilt. I have done pretty well with it from what I have learned through books and the internet as far as making clothing and bags from patterns. I really want to improve my quilt making skills though and in my search for tutorials and how to websites I stumbled upon this site. I've been reading some of the topics and I just love this site so far. It seems to have a nice variety of quilters of all ages and skill levels. I really look forward to getting to know everyone and eventually participate in some of the swaps and row robin type activities!

I am 33 years old and stay at home mom to my 11 year old daughter. I also enjoy crocheting, plastic canvas, reading, photography, and learning new crafts and skills.
