My name is Cindy and I'm from upstate NY. I have always admired quilts and the people who make them, I'd love to to learn how to quilt, starting out with a simple table runner. I'd appreciate any advice/tips anyone cares to give. I'm totally lost here and not sure just how to get started. I have been sewing since I was in Jr. high school. Oh, I should also mention that I am terrible at and hate math!! Do I have a prayer of learning how to quilt?

I'm from Downstate NY, now living in NH Welcome Math is far less important than following instructions, if using a pattern, and cutting accurately. |

Hello Cindy, welcome from northern Minnesota! I agree with BusyDebbie, the best thing you could do to start out is to take a class at your LQS.
