And I would guess that the half of the year in northern Minnesota is not too far from beautiful Lake Vermilion. I lived in Soudan until I was 12, and would be about five years younger than you are. We still have a cabin on Daisy Bay, but hardly ever can get back there, although my brother's kids get back almost every summer. My husband and I live in Ashevile NC in the summer and the Tampa Bay area in the winter. My dad taught math and science at TS.
