Hi
I'm Laura from St Paul. I am finally taking a huge break from clothing sewing kids are out of the house now and way too picky to sew for). I just finished my first queen sized quilt and am ready for more. I forgot how relaxing it is to spend the day with my sewing machine. I also am a self-taught knitter, am trying to divide up the time to get all the projects done. Yarn stash and fabric stash are about equal an need to get smaller, at least it's winter up here and way too cold to do much outside. |

Welcome! I am also from St. Paul (New Brighton). I used to sew kids' clothes, but now they are all out of the house. I have 2 grandsons, but they have more clothes than they need already. I also knit, crochet and quilt. I am switching off among the three to finish Christmas gifts also. I am loving the cold weather. I spent all day yesterday in my sewing room working on a baby quilt. Much nicer than being outside in the cold.
