I have a 1 year old yellow Lab that thinks she is a lap baby. She weighs 70 + lbs, a bit much to be a lap baby but she hasn't figured that part out yet.

I would put all your "pets" to quilt .....first I would devide them into two groups: hand quilters and machine quilters.....I am sure they will have plenty to contribute.....

I love animals but I'm TERRIFIED of snakes. Born and raised in rattlesnake country everytime we went outside when I was a kid my mom warned us about watching for snakes.....saw a million of them, all rattlers and never got used to them. I'm glad you like your pets but I'm sorry I can't love them like you do. The mice, rats, hamsters, dog and cats are OK...sorry about the snakes.
