Hi all! My name is Mandy and I'm super new to quilting and sewing in general. This board is going to be a godsend! I don't know anyone else who quilts and I have questions all the time and no one to ask. I'm just starting a new quilt now, so finding this board is great timing.

A little about me - I'm 28 and married to a guy in the Air Force so we move around alot. I'm currently living in Las Vegas (where I'm from) while my hubby is overseas for a year. This summer we'll be moving to England with our 3 dogs (boston terriers) the loves of my life.

Welcome! I have a young friend whose husband is in the Coast Guard, they spend a little time in England. They took their dog there, also. She loved the experience there.

Hi Mandy, glad to have you on board! I think you will like it here as I learn alot from everyone almost every time I log in and read, I also like to look at the pictures of what people have done. Good luck and when you have a question, just jump right on it!

I'm 27 and I don't have any "in real life" quilting friends. This is a great place to make friends and to learn a lot too. Have fun here!

Hi, Mandy. Welcome aboard. This is a great place to have questions answered. Everyone here is super helpful. Did you teach yourself to quilt or did you take lessons? We would love to see pictures of your Boston terriers. Here's the link:

Hello from Newfoundland!!

My boyfriend and I were thinking about a little long weekend getaway this Spring to Vegas.. but with the crappy snow weather we have been getting I think Cuba is winning LOL

Welcome aboard!! You will love it here.. I'm here not even a week and my day is not complete without coming in here a few times a day!! :)

Ok pics of my "kids" are up!

I taught myself how to sew and quilt although I should probably take some classes sometime to improve my skills and remedy all the stuff I do wrong!
