Hello everyone, just getting back into quilting. I got hooked on the Elm Creek quilting series, they made want to quilt again. I live with my hubby Dave and my doggy Rustee. I have four grown kids and seven grandkids. I would love to make quilts for all of them. I have never hand quilted and I am not sure I really want to. I can tell I will learn lots of new things on this site.

Welcome from Delaware - handquilting is not too hard once you get the hang of it. I hand quilt all of mine. Ask questions if you need to.
I love the Elm Creek Series too - she doesn't write fast enough though :D

Hi kimmie,

where in Michigan are you from? I'm in Essexville! And I just love the EC series, too!

Hand quilting is the way to go ... I love it because it makes me slow down and enjoy the process. It's not hard, just time consuming!
