Everyone- You have given me such a warm welcome! Thanks so much! I've received welcomes from all over the US, and many parts of the world. Amazing. The internet sure has made our world smaller hasn't it? We can find friends in a way that was not possible before.

Those who asked about my eye surgery; I am doing great. Got my new glasses now and I'm ready to hit the trail.

Blessings to all!

Welcome to the board! Isn't it wonderful that technology has advance so much that cataract surgery is possible? Imagine how our greatgrandmothers lives must have changed when they got cataracts! We will all be waiting to see your projects!

It sure is awesome how things have changed. I was told that years ago, (and not that many either) people had to lay flat on their backs for a couple of weeks after cataract surgery with sandbags on either side of their heads. They could not move their heads. Yikes! Now, it's an outpatient thing, and you can go back to your regular schedule almost immediately.

Wonder what will develop in the next 20 years?

Thanks for the welcome.
