If you trim your butcher paper to fit the printer, would that work?

I just use the cheapest and thinnest copy paper I can find. Last summer I got 6 reams for $2 each.

As long as it won't curl. I've used freezer paper before, but I had bought the pieces pre-cut.

Hello Rose Marie and welcome from Ohio! There are many different kinds of paper that quilters have used to paper piece. Try all or some until you find what you best prefer to use.
