HI from North Texas
Good evening. Been lurking awhile and decided to finally introduce myself. I started sewing as a child, but only ventured into quilting about two years ago. I'm primarily self taught but I've taken one class to make a Bargello quilt. I already have several quilts to finish. I love to piece but have sent my quilts out to finish. My goal for 2016 is t began to learn FMQ.

Welcome from Southern California. There are many Bargello quilters that hang out here. I found that taking a class from Harriet Hargrave, who I consider the Diva of getting machine quilting recognized, helped me over many difficulties. I always suggest to get her book "Heirloom Machine Quilting". I found it easier at first to follow a line so then I could concentrate on my stitch length being consistence. Another trick is to not look at the needle because that is where you are NOW, but look to where you want to go. Hope the makes sense. I find lots of inspiration from this site.

Welcome to the board. This is a great place to learn and make quilty friends. I see you live in Flower Mound. My son and his family live there. I was just there over Thanksgiving. Thank the Lord, the tornados missed them.
