Hi from Northern California
wow what a great resource!! I'm delighted to have found this site and all of you. I'm a retired caberet singer. My husband and I traveled and performed for over 20 years. He is now a virtually an invalid with serious heart problems, complicated vision problems and, unfortunately, his hands are crippled so he can no longer play piano. This all creates a real need for me to stay fairly close to home. I sew/quilt in a 20 ft yurt (a big circus tent) with lots of light and space. It sits in the middle of our little acre in the country and I am grateful every day for the space and the beauty surrounding it. I've been serious about quilting for a bit over a year but have been sewing off and on most of my life. Love learning new skills at quilting.
