Welcome from HOT Southern California. I would go looking at Jinny Beyer who is an avid hand piecer. Hexes are the only hand piecing I do. I hope you find as much inspiration as I do from this site.

Yes, Lisa. We just retired from teaching and moved here in July from the Cincinnati area. I have always been in love with SE Ohio ;)
I'm a retired teacher also. Have you been to the Nelsonville Quilt Shop? The owner and her employees are all nice and very helpful. She has classes and clubs and Wed. is quilt therapy day when you can take whatever you want to work on and enjoy time with other quilters.
