Hi, I am from Akron, OH. I am an avid sewer and quilter and just recently found this wonderous site. I have 2 children and 3 adorable grandsons. I am having a wonderful time reading all the posts and admiring all of your beautiful quilts( very inspirational!). Hopefully I can get a few pictures of my most recent quilts posted (might have to get my son to help as he is most helpful to the challenged, me!) Thank you for having such a great site.

Thanks for the welcome. I would love to see Ireland as I am one quarter Irish. My brother and sister-in-law went to Ireland over the Easter holiday and they wouldn't take an extra trunk (with me inside) with them (boo-hoo). So I guess I will have to settle for pictures. Take care, Natalie

Hi, Phoenixquilter. I noticed that you're from Akron. I live in Canton. I love knowing that there are many quilters here in NE Ohio. What shop(s) do you do most of your buying in? I think it's great that we have as many LQS in our area that aren't too far to travel too. Makes a nice day out. Altho I don't NEED any more fabric or gadgets since I went to the AQS show in Paducah. Now to finishing all my UFOs in 2010 (thru 20??).

Hi, I am so jealous that you got to go to the AQS show in Padukah! I have always wanted to go and just see that many quilts, vendors, and everything all in one area! WOW!! I usually go to Stitch, Piece n Purl in Cuyahoga Falls. Other than that, I do a lot of shopping at JoAnn's. I usually get my batting and other notions there as they are rather pricey at the LQS. Good to know someone who quilts who is close. We must stay in touch. Take care :)
