My name is Lori, and I live in Roseburg, Oregon. We have moved around quite a bit, so I am lacking in close friendships!! We are here for a while, and I am going to try to get settled in and make some friends. The LQS is really nice, but haven't had many shopping opportunities. I recently started a job at a thrift shop, so that is cutting into my quilting time. Oh well, so goes life!! Anyway, I have been hanging around and reading for quite some time, years actually, and thought it was time to join in the fun. After I figure out how things work, I will post pics, as I know you all like them. :D

Waves from Sisters, OR! Maybe you'll find some neat quilting stuff and fabrics come thru the thrift store.
If you've ever thought of coming to Sisters, the 2nd weekend in July would be the time to come! The outdoor Quilt Show is amazing. Tiring, but amazing! p.s. I love your quilt, especially your colors. |
Thanks for the howdy!! I have been to the Sisters quilt show a couple times, and yes, it both amazing and tiring. Missed it this time though. Someday, I would like to be brave enough to enter something!

Waving at you from my house outside of Portland, OR!
WELCOME to the board and to Oregon! Have a family reunion this weekend in Glide-I'll wave again on the way through Roseburg! |
Hi and Welcome from southern Indiana!!
No matter where you live, we will always be your friends! |
Thanks for the comments on my avatar quilt. It is actually a table topper that I made for a friend in Georgia. Her table told me it was lonely!! It was one of the few things I have gotten to "splurge" on and shop at the LQS. And it was much easier to quilt than my king-size one!!
