I just found this a few days ago. You guys are so talented. I have been sewing forever and quilting for 17 years or so. I lost my job in April and started a Sewing school for kids mainly. It was the greatest thing that could ever have happened to me. And now I can quilt. I have never done anything to fancy. I am hoping with all your inspiration I can grow in my quilting and in turn maybe inspire my student to sew and QUILT!!

HI JoLene,
I lived i Oregon most of my life....
Teaching kids to sew and even adults that don't sew is so rewarding. Good job. Keep it up and welcome to this nice place in space.

Welcome from Florida (which isn't too warm now). I teach sewing, quilting, crocheting, etc. and love it. I receive such positive feedback from my students. They just love to learn handwork of most any kind. When I was young, almost no one sat down without some type of needlework in their hands. I'm happy you can pass on your knowledge as well.
