Started quilting about 1 year ago and am on my way to making quilts for each of our 14 grandchildren. 5 done, so far!

Am also trying to complete a wall hanging for each month of the year for over our fireplace. Am already behind. Will be all set (I hope) for 2011!!!

I know what you mean! I tried that make a quilt for each month last year. I decided that I'd make one each month. I was instantly behind! It was a lot of work, of course the wall hanging patterns I had were pretty big, @ 24"x36" for the background with appliqued "picture". I still want to get them done. I have 2 completely done and one done, but not quilted and another with all the fabrics picked out.

Maybe we should set a goal for having all the blocks done in 3 years and be happy with four monthly quilts done a year? At least in 3 years it would be done, instead of still being a UFO!

Oh yeah - we are getting a lot of rain this AM. We need it though, it's been a "dry" winter. It's too bad in a way because my brother and his wife are visiting from Calgary. They are thoroughly enjoying the flowers and blooming trees!

Sounds like a plan. Think I can manage 4 per year!
